Made for each other

Don't pay $59 for lash serums with fancy branding.  You can make a serum at home that is just as good as the expensive eye lash serums.  You are mainly paying for synthetic chemicals and influencer endorsement costs, not the contents that actually do the work for you!

Due to its natural properties, castor oil can support fuller, and healthier-looking lashes and brows, with less breakages.

Apply your castor oil serum twice daily to help nourish and protect your lashes and brows while enhancing the look of density.

Features

How to use: thoroughly wash a dropper or a syringe like for kids Panadol, or a pipette, and fill with castor oil, then squirt into the aluminium mascara case. You will not be able to pour the castor oil in.

Please note that castor oil can be irritating to the eye.  Do not put oil in your eye.

According to a study in the International Journal of Science and Research, castor oil contains 90% ricinoleic acid and omega-6 fatty acids. Ricinoleic acid contains high levels of triglycerides, which may help moisturize eyelashes. Also, the oil contains omega-6 fatty acids, which may help improve the health of hair.  Please note, however, there is no scientific evidence to suggest that castor oil can help the eyelashes grow.  As there is no scientific evidence that many of the synthetic peptides and chemicals in other eye lash serums can help eye lashes grow.  They can only claim to assist the appearance of fuller lashes.

Some of the properties of castor oil that may make it beneficial for eye lashes and brows are:

  • It contains ricinoleic acid and omega-6, types of fatty acid that can moisturize the hair shafts and prevents them from drying out, which can lead to breakage.
  • It has antibacterial and antifungal properties.

Note - for the hair on your head, you use castor oil to assist hair growth. Apply a few drops of it to your scalp and massage it gently. You can also add it to your shampoo or conditioner or mix it with other carrier oils, such as coconut or jojoba oil. You should use castor oil no more than once a week to avoid buildup and irritation. Leave of for about 30 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.
