Flipslide

Created by a Melbourne mum with 10 years experience in the footwear industry and originally brought to life via crowd-funding. Rebecca Rennie took a step away from fast fashion offering a comfortable, classic shoe using natural renewable materials. Flipslide started as a concept; a simple piece of footwear that wouldn’t go in and out of fashion, could be made from natural renewable materials, manufactured in a way to keep waste as low as possible and wouldn’t carry the high price tag that sustainable fashion so often does.  Flipslide spent a lot of time sourcing the right factory to ensure they got a quality product with minimal impact on the environment and fair treatment for all workers. The factory pays significantly higher than minimum wage (and accordingly for overtime) and independent audits show fair treatment of workers in all categories.
