Biome Brisbane City
Situated in Adelaide Street, one back from Queen Street Mall, Biome's Brisbane City store is brimming with eco friendly, waste free, low tox solutions. In this exciting little store you will find reusable straws, heirloom vegetable seeds, handmade wrapping paper, green cleaning products, natural clay masks, stainless steel lunch boxes and everything in between. Whether you're on the lookout for a gift for a work colleague, a reusable KeepCup for your mid morning takeaway coffee, or a sneaky bar of Pana Chocolate at 3pm, you will find it here. You will find a range of raw ingredients in convenient reusable glass jars to make your own skin and hair care, and some products, like castile soap and hand and body wash, available in bulk. Biome in Brisbane City is great for those working in the city who need a quick escape on their lunch break, or those visiting the city and staying somewhere close by. Central Station and various bus stops are just a short walk away.

Biome Balmoral (now closed)
For five and a half years, the spacious Biome Balmoral store was located on Riding Road, Balmoral. It wasn't too far away from the popular suburb of Bulimba, and was ideal for those that live south of the Brisbane River. There are cafes and other specialty shops located close by in Oxford Street. Biome Balmoral had plenty of street and undercover parking available. The store was large and easy to move around in, so quite comfortable for those with a pram or stroller. There was also a fun colouring corner set up for kids, making it a little easier for parents to browse the shelves, plus a coffee bar!
Project Zero Coffee Bar was on a mission to be Australia's lowest waste coffee shop. There were no single use cups or cutlery. Instead, customers were asked to bring bring their own, borrow one from our free mug library, or get yourself a forever
reusable coffee cup in store. There was no surcharge for vegan mylks or coffee and snacks were sourced from as close to Brisbane as possible. The whole store was powered by Green Power with zero carbon emissions. Biome Balmoral was home to our first full size Naked Beauty Bar, where you could find things like clays, charcoal, beeswax and plant based candelilla wax, shea and cocoa butters, local jojoba and hemp oil, castile soap, hand and body wash, vinegars and floral hydrosols, as well as many other raw, natural ingredients in bulk. here > The Biome Balmoral store was a great stop to take a moment, enjoy a coffee, breathe in the beautiful natural scents; as well as to browse the huge range of natural skin care, green cleaning, eco gift ideas and back to school essentials. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 and a subsequent decline in foot traffic, we regretfully had to close the store in July of 2022. We have many fond memories of the community this store built, and it will continue to live on in our hearts.

Biome Paddington
Latrobe Terrace in Paddington is where you will find Biome's flagship store. Distinguished by its lush street facing plant wall, quirky, upcycled features and cozy interior brimming with eco friendly solutions, Biome Paddington is a must visit inner Brisbane destination for the eco conscious. Connected to Biome Paddington is the Biome Collective, a workshop space where we hold regular green cleaning, natural skin care, slow fashion and self sufficiency workshops and events. When we are not holding events in that space, we have a large selection of ethical and sustainable fashion available for you to try on and purchase. Biome Paddington has a huge range of raw ingredients available to purchase in bulk. Visit the store to pick up ingredients to make your own skin care, hair care and body care products, green cleaning products,
bath bombs, and homemade gifts. There is also a huge range of waste free lunch boxes, stainless steel water bottles, reusable straws, produce bags and coffee cups, natural skin, body and hair care products, books, cards, wrapping paper, slow fashion and green cleaning products. There is some street parking available as well as plenty of space in the customer car park at the rear of the building off Given Terrace.

Biome Indooroopilly Shopping Centre
Our Indooroopilly Biome store is located on level 3 at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, across from Optus. Customers love that it is a welcome escape from the bustle of shopping centre. Biome Indooroopilly is packed full of green cleaning, natural skin, body and hair care products, books, zero waste, plastic free, cruelty free solutions. You will find a huge range of reusable straws, shopping bags and coffee cups, stainless steel pegs, Bokashi composting bins, and much more. You will also find a fully stocked Naked Beauty Bar, and you can buy products such as liquid castile soap, hand and body wash, soapberries, apple cider and white vinegars, floral hydrosols and raw DIY ingredients in bulk from this location. Indooroopilly Shopping Centre is conveniently located just west of Brisbane, not too far away from the University of Queensland. It is the perfect destination for those that live in Brisbane's western suburbs and Ipswich. There is plenty of undercover parking available and a train station close by.
